DEERE-HITACHI SELECTS ACCELOPS SAAS FOR INTEGRATEDDATA CENTER AND IT SERVICE MANAGEMENT
SANTA CLARA, CALIF. – May 17, 2010 – AccelOps, the integrated data center and cloud service monitoring leader, today announced that Deere-Hitachi Construction Machinery Corporation has selected its SaaS-based, all-in-one data center management solution. The fully integrated platform will provide Deere-Hitachi's IT organization with centralized, cross-correlated infrastructure monitoring that extends to VMware virtualization management and security information event management (SIEM).

Deere-Hitachi, a joint venture between Deere & Company and Hitachi Construction Machinery Corporation, designs and manufactures world-class products for the construction and forestry industry leveraging best-in-class excavator technology. The IT organization supports engineering, manufacturing and product support departments across three sites in the U.S. and Canada.
Until now, the Deere-Hitachi team has relied on a variety of different IT tools to monitor their infrastructure, which did not provide a complete view of operations and was not effective in preempting issues. Infrastructure growth, extensive use of virtualization (over 70 percent of systems) and hot site support added to management complexity.
Deere-Hitachi turned to AccelOps for a turnkey platform that provides integrated network and system management, application performance management, security information management and advanced service management functionality.
