RICHARD KAGAN NAMED TO ACCELOPS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Data Center and Cloud Service Monitoring Startup Continues Build-out of Leadership Team to Propel Company into Next Stage of Growth
SANTA CLARA, CA – April 25, 2011 – AccelOps, Inc., the only provider of integrated monitoring solutions built from the ground up for cloud-generation data centers, today announced that Richard Kagan has joined the company’s board of directors. A respected technology strategist and marketer, Kagan is executive vice president and general manager of the Orchestration Systems business unit at Infoblox, a developer of advanced network infrastructure automation and control solutions.

Kagan brings more than 25 years of marketing, business development, and engineering experience in the telecommunications, networking, and security industries. Prior to joining Infoblox as vice president of marketing, Kagan served as vice president of marketing at Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT), where he launched the company and defined Unified Threat Management, one of the fastest growing segments in the network security market. Before Fortinet, he was vice president of marketing at VPNet (acquired by Avaya), vice president of sales at Echelon (NASDAQ:ELON), and held engineering positions at ROLM and Bell Laboratories. Richard earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a master of science in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
