ACCELOPS RECEIVES NEW ROUND OF FUNDING AND GRANT TO EXPAND SALES AND OPERATIONS IN US AND CHINA
SANTA CLARA, CALIF. – July 7, 2010 – AccelOps, the integrated data center and cloud service monitoring leader, today announced that it has received additional funding from strategic and existing investors. The current round brings the total investment in the company to more than $11 million. The recent financing is for sales and operations expansion to meet the rapidly growing demand for the company’s integrated data center monitoring platform.
Taking advantage of the disruption in the data center and cloud management market due to virtualization, cloud computing, IT outsourcing and consolidation, the company has doubled its quarter-over-quarter revenue since releasing its solution. As part of this new round of financing, AccelOps also announced RMB 5 million grant from the local high tech park in Shanghai, China (ZhangJiang High Tech Park). The company’s Shanghai office, which provides platform customization and support, is preparing to launch AccelOps in China and other Asian regions.
"In a relatively short time, we have delivered an integrated, comprehensive and scalable data center monitoring platform," said Imin Lee, CEO and co-founder of AccelOps. "This funding enables us to extend our proven vision to the marketplace and ensure the best value, on-going support and commitment to our customers’ and partners’ success."
