The Senior Manager of Sales Development will be responsible for building and leading a top-talent team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s). This leader will be critical to AccelOps’ success in constructing a high volume qualification sales model. They will walk the line between marketing and sales to ensure the sales engine is a high performing one. This individual will play an important role as a member of the sales and marketing leadership team. They must be self-motivated with a history of success in inspiring and extrapolating the most out of their team, have a strong focus on operational excellence and a passion for data. The Director of Sales Development will report to the VP of Marketing & Business Development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and manage a team of sales development representatives (SDRs) whose role consist of inbound and outbound activities including cold calling 2.0, prospecting, lead qualification & pipeline building.
  • Build and execute lead generation and qualification strategy.
  • Establish and improve lead generation processes to maximize team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to establish a systemic approach to inbound and outbound lead generation that is aligned with sales goals and marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to proactively develop new ideas and marketing programs to stimulate customer interest and demand.
  • Manage, motivate and inspire the SDR team through coaching and mentoring to drive strong performance.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations to make recommendations on process improvements.


  • Consistent record of meeting and exceeding pipeline targets.
  • Recent success leading and managing a team of Sales Development Representatives or inside sales professionals inside a technology company.
  • Outstanding leadership demonstrated though coaching, mentoring and growing talent.
  • Strong verbal, written and analytics skills.
  • Thrives in entrepreneurial environment and is highly self-motivated.
  • Excellent team player and collaborator.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker.
  • Solid understanding of CRM, marketing automation and gamification tools.
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent required.
